Second Impression of Second Edition (First Edition published by John Lehmann in 1951) 8vo. blue/grey cloth hardback, gilt, in price-clipped dust jacket by John Minton. 207pp., Indexed, plus 1 page Publisher's List. With illustrated title page, full page and vignette illustrations by John Minton. Neat ink gift inscription, dated 1967, to ffep. A few minor creases to lower outer corners of a few pages, else nice and clean and bright internally. Slight discolouration to board edges. Dust jacket has light foxing on reverse side but mainly invisible to right side. The terracotta shading to the illustrations has faded to spine and front cover but still bright to rear cover (please see photos). A few small chips and closed tears to edges. A VERY GOOD COPY in VERY GOOD DUST JACKET.
