All edges with original marbling. xxxii, 463pp., Indexed, with large folding map, dated 1819, as frontispiece, a Facsimile of MSS, a Map to illustrate the IGLEA of the Saxon Chronicle and 3 plates of Coins. Text in 2 columns, Anglo-Saxon and modern English. A clean copy with no markings or inscriptions. Occasional light foxing, mainly to prelims. Lower corner missing to p.405 but no loss to text.
