New Edition 4 Volumes, complete. 8vo. red cloth hardbacks, gilt, in original dust jackets with colour plates affixed to front covers. Each volume illustrated with 48 of Thorburn's wonderful colour plates, the frontispieces with tissue-guards. Small ink inscription to ffep of Volume II only. Light foxing to prelims and foredges. Outer edges of cloth boards a little faded and damp-stained. Dust jacket spines sun-darkened but still legible. Edgewear to dust jackets, especially tops of spines with slight loss and slight edge damage to colour plates on front covers (please see photos). Overall a VERY GOOD SET in Good+ Dust Jackets.
