Ex-library copy. 8vo hardback in 1950s library binding of orange cloth gilt and white card endpapers; [xv] + 942pp, illustrated with colour plates of Standards and Colours (NB: 3 OF 4 OF THESE ARE MISSING) and Past Uniforms, some lacking their tissue-guards. Library stamps to reverse of title page, slighty offset to first page of Preface, library marks to endpapers blanked out with correction fluid, light foxing and occasional ink blots throughout, occasional short closed tears to top margins and slight damage to one plates. Boards have some light rubbing and edgewear, scribble to front, spine a little faded andhas old faint tape mark. Good, Sound copy overall.
