FIRST EDITION, SIGNED BY JOOSS and many other members. Large (approx. 30 x 23cm) stapled softback with screen-printed design by Hein Heckroth. 28pp. of 3 Essays and many b/w illustrations of Jooss and dancers. Signed in blue ink by Jooss under b/w portrait photograph, also Rolf Alexander, Noelle de Mosa, Elsa Kahl, Ulla Soederbaum, Hans Zullig and Sigurd Leeder under their corresponding photographs. Title page has another 20 ink signatures (persons unknown) and there are two loose photographic prints, both inscribed to Jose and signed Florence (nd) and Maya (1946). Centre spread of pale yellow paper has become detached from staples but is present. Upside-down white rubber stamp of "Printed in England" to inside front cover. Very slight wear to cover edges, else a VERY GOOD COPY.
