FIRST EDITION, FIRST IMPRESSION 8vo. black cloth hardback, gilt. No dust jacket. 277pp. Partially erased pencil inscription, dated 1951, to ffep with slight surface damage to erased part. Some light soiling and tanning to endpapers and light foxing to prelims, top edge and foredge. Small ink stain to top outer corner of foredge of last few pages (please see photos). A few faint white streaks to upper board and a couple of tiny white spots to lower. Very slight wear to top and base of spine. Possible candidate for a rebind. Overall a Good+ Copy.
