Softback (approx. 23.5 x 19cm) with French flaps and cover designed by Fernand Leger, with original translucent glassine dust jacket. 196pp., [3], plus 64 beautifully printed heliogravure b/w plates at end. Plus matching softback folder containing 14 pochoir-coloured aquarelle prints (2 featuring 4 illustrations). In a marbled paper-covered slipcase with stiff marbled insert and paper title label to one face. A clean set with no previous owners' markings or inscriptions. Some pages in text, including title page, are unopened. Remarkably clean and bright throughout. Occasional small spots of foxing and soiling to few of the colour plates in folder, only one slightly impinging on colour plate itself. Edges of marbled board insert of slipcase a little rubbed, as are slipcase edges. Marbled pattern of paper-covering has bled through to title label somewhat (please see photos). A VERY GOOD SET.
