Top edge dark green. 255pp., profusely illustrated with 16 colour plates with captioned tissue-guards, and many full-page, vignette, head and tail piece line drawings, all by the Author. Attractive bookplate of H. H. Harrod (author and son of Harrod's founder) by G. Ledward to front pastredown. Light tanning and foxing to prelims, otherwise a remarkably clean, bright copy with firm binding. Slight fading to green cloth of spine and light wear to top and base of spine. A VERY GOOD COPY.
