FIRST EDITION 8vo. softback (approx. 21 x 13cm) with plain card covers and illustrated dust jacket in colour attached to spine. Pages unnumbered. Illustrated title, contents and a further 24 b/w plates tipped-in, with printed captions to facing pages. Ink gift inscription, dated 1911, to ffep. A couple of spots of soiling internally and slight tanning to untrimmed foredge. Slight tanning to card covers and upper board slightly loose at foot. Illustrated dust jacket has light wear and small tears to top and base where it protrudes by a couple of millimetres from the card covers. Spine rather worn and rubbed (please see photos). Overall a GOOD+ COPY.
