2 Volumes. FIRST EDITIONS, PRESENTATION COPIES. 8vo. dark green cloth hardbacks, gilt. All edges of Volume I speckled. Volume I: 186pp. with portrait frontispiece and two other b/w plates plus large folding map at end. Inscribed in ink to ffep 'Grace & Edith Jellicoe from the Compilers, Northfield, Ryde'. No other markings or inscriptions. Some foxing to prelims and portrait frontispiece very slightly proud, having been stuck back in at some point, leaving a light mark to the gutter (please see photos). A few spots of faint soiling to boards and light wear to top and base of spine. Volume II: 75pp. including Corrections to Volume I. Inscribed in ink to front pastedown 'Grace & Edith Jellicoe from the Compilers'. No other markings or inscriptions. Grace and Edith Jellicoe were Viscount Jellicoe's sisters. Occasional light foxing, heavier to prelims. Slight wear to top and base of spine and corners. A VERY GOOD SET.
