FIRST EDITION 3 Volumes, Complete. Small 8vo. (approx. 16.5 x 10.5cm) hardbacks in contemporary half brown calf with raised bands, title labels, decorative gilt to spines and brown cloth boards. All edges and endpapers marbled. lxxv, 272pp. 403pp. 387pp. Hand-inscribed small paper label pasted to rear pastedown of each volume. Occasional light foxing, heavier to prelims. Spines uniformly lightly faded with a little wear and scuffing to edges and corners. Boards somewhat soiled, particularly lower board of Volume II and upper board of Volume III. Overall a GOOD+ SET.
