With musial notations for Gregorian Chant throughout. Various pages have had small leather and ribbon tabs attached to the foredge (please see photo), presumably a long time ago. Old ink inscriptions to Dedication and rear pastedown with ink stain obliterating some of inscription and lightly affecting title page (please see photos). Small modern bookplate to front pastedown. Lacking free endpapers. Large closed tear and creasing to last leaf. Top layer of mottled calf and rubbed away in patches, particularly to the apine which also has some wear and slight loss to top and base. Gilt of title label rubbed. Overall a GOOD+ COPY.
