3 Volumes. 12mo. hardbacks in original tan calf, raised bands, decorative gilt. All edges speckled red. Each volume with overall title page plus each play with title page and engraved frontispiece illustration by G. Vander Gucht except the first play in Volume I which has a portrait of John Dryden and was printed for J. Tonson in 1733. Each volume with ink name and date (1741) along with a red wax seal to ffep (seal messing from Vol. III) and contemporary engraved armorial bookplate to front pastedown along with a small modern bookplate. Occasional light foxing. Gilt titles to all three volumes rubbed into illegibility but gilt decorations stillapparent, if rubbed. Wera and small amounts of loss to tops and bases of apines and rubbing to corners.Light wear to boards. Overall a GOOD+ SET.
