Two Volumes, 8vo., in full calf gilt, with raised bands, gilt decoration, and twin title labels to spine, all edges marbled and with marbled endpapers; Vol I: [xiv] + 538pp; Vol II: [xii] + 582pp. Neat ink gift inscription dated 1857 to early blank of Vol I. Both Vols have foxing to prelims and to the last few pages. Boards have a few small marks and scuffs, two long scratches to rear board of Vol II, spines and edges a little worn and rubbed. Overall a Very Good set.
