Two Volumes. Text volume: 8vo., blue clothbound hardback gilt, with dust jacket (unclipped); [xiii] + 412pp, indexed, with 11 black and white plans and diagrams. Maps volume: 8vo., in blue clothbound hardback case gilt; with 12 fold out maps (1-11 and 14, as 12 and 13 'will be included in the next volume'). Text volume has a neat ink owner name to ffep and a rubber stamp to top edge, foxing to edges and to first and last few pages, boards a little worn at outer corners and spine ends, two small chips to side of spine, dust jacket rather soiled and damaged, with large area of loss to front. Maps volume case has ex-library stamps and numbers, some light foxing and wear to corners and spine ends. (Maps are all in good condition).
