Small 8vo. dark green clothbound hardback with dark red leather title label, gilt, to spine.; [viii] + 167pp. This copy has a printed notice to front pastedown stating that 'The profits of The Gipsies' Advocate will be appropriated to the funds of the 'Southampton Committee for the Amelioration of the Condition of the Gipsies,' and to aid in the support of the 'Landsdown and Kingland Infants' Schools' of Southampton'. Neat ink name and date (1831) also to front pastedown. Foxing to endpapers plus occasionally throughout, front and rear inner hinges stretched, a few marks to boards, spine and part of rear board a little faded, light wear to edges. Overall a Good Copy.
