New endpapers. viii, 549pp. plus 4pp. Errata and Index. Extra leaf bound in at p.253 with small engraving of Gun Powder Treason plus loose engraving, dated 1789 of memorial and heraldic device in Ospringe Church, Kent. Ink handwritten addition to Index (Brook, p.51). No other markings or inscriptions. Occasional light foxing throughout, heavier to prelims. Title page with vertical crease. Slight loss to corners of title label. Light edgewear to boards. Overall a VERY GOOD COPY of this very scarce title - the majority of copies having been destroyed in a fire at the Printer's.
