III to VIII, 1896-1899: Second Edition. 8 Volumes. 8vo. dark brown cloth hardbacks, gilt (Volumes III and IV in slightly paler brown cloth). All volumes with maps (some folding and some in colour) and b/w illustrations. A clean set with no previous owners' markings or inscriptions. Volumes III and IV have slightly rough foredges where pages have been opened and slight creasing to outer edge of large colour folding map in Vol. III. Closed tear to p.17 of Vol. VII. Light wear to tops and bases of spines and couple of dent and holes in cloth covering of lower board of Vol. IV. Overall in Good+ condition. All other volumes look remarkably clean and bright and in VERY GOOD CONDITION.
