FIRST THUS 8vo. full contemporary panelled calf with raised bands, dark red title label, decorative gilt to spine. [16], 231pp. plus [1] Advertisements at end. Copperplate engraved portrait frontispiece of Dunster by M. V. Gucht (?) and nine full page copperplate engravings by Joseph Nutting. Engraved bookplate of Athelstan Riley, Seigneur de la Trinite to front pastedown and two ink inscriptions to title page, dated 1714 and 1898 (please see photos). Very occasional light foxing, slightly heavier to prelims. Lower board and front free endpaper detached, upper board still attached but very loose, lightly soiled and edgeworn. Spine rather rubbed and worn with slight loss to top and base. Overall a Good, Sound Copy - a good candidate for a rebind.
