FIRST EDITION 8vo. brown textured cloth hardback, gilt, with blind-embossed decoration to boards. xii, 172pp. plus 4pp. List of Subscribers to Proposed Restoration of Dorchester Abbey Church. Illustrated with b/w plates and vignettes within text. Also has an extra engraved plate of the New Bridge (1816) tipped in to early blank, small b/w photo of a church window pasted to ffep, and loose old b/w photo postcard of the Jesse Window. Ink signatures to front endpapers and modern armorial bookplate to front pastedown. Some foxing throughout, occasionally heavy. First gather a little loose and inner hinge weak. Covers rather rubbed and worn with damage to top and base of spine. Overall a Good, Sound Copy.
