4to., bound in half red morocco gilt, with raised bands and gilt rules to spine, over red cloth boards with gilt emblem to front cover, a.e.g., marbled endpapers; [xxxi] + 1pp Errata and Addenda + 490pp, indexed, illus with plates in b/w and colour (one foldout) all with protectors. Includes a watercolour drawing of the Colours, together with an accompanying note to Lady Camden asking her to send 5/- to the artist (Mr G Hill), loosely inserted. Clean copy with no previous ownership inscriptions or annotation. Light foxing to first and last few pages, spine slightly faded and a little rubbed in places. Overall a VERY GOOD COPY.
