PRESENTATION COPY, SIGNED by the Author. 8vo., blue clothbound hardback gilt, with gilt emblem to upper cover; [xxiii] + 340pp, colour frontis plus black and white plates throughout and map endpapers. Author's presentation inscription (to the Countess Wavell) and signature to title page, together with the signature of Brigadier Blackader. Inscription in green ink of Eugenie Wavell to reverse of frontis. Light foxing to edges and prelims. Shelf edge of upper board slightly scuffed. Dust jacket rather rubbed and worn at edges, with corner chips and a little loss at ends. Overall VG in a Good dust jacket.
