Eight volumes: Volumes 1-6 (published 1926 - 1932) : the main volumes, containing an alphabetical listing from A-Z and at the end of Volume 6 a first supplement (pages 273-449), Volume 7 (published 1934) containing the index (by authors, initials and psedonyms), Volume 8 published in 1956, contains alphabetical listings from A to Z for the years 1900 - 1950. Large 8vo. clothbound hardbacks, gilt. Almost 3,000pp. and approximately 65,000 entries. This is not an ex-library set and there are no marks or inscriptions. Slight dulling to gilt lettering on spines, small paint splashes to spine of Volume 3, but overall a VERY GOOD SET.
