FIRST EDITION 8vo. softback (approx. 22.5 x 15cm) in original paper covers with visible stitching, pages uncut. 52pp. with engraved frontispiece and large folding Plan of the Peninsular bound in after title page. Also a large loose Plan of the Town and Fortifications, hand-coloured and also dated 1782. A clean copy with no previous owners' markings or inscriptions. Uncut edges somewhat dusty with occasional light creases. Bound-in Plan has a few small closed tears and creases to rather dusty edges and very faint mottling. Large loose Plan has light foxing and some tiny closed tears to edges of large margins. Original paper wraps rather creased and torn. Overall a Good, Sound Copy with extra GOOD+ map.
