(approx. 28 x 22cm) original 18th Century full calf with red title label, gilt, to spine. 360pp., illustrated with large folding chart of the Coasts of Barbary, Spain and Portugal as frontispiece plus 9 other folding plans, views and charts. A clean copy with no previous owners' markings or inscriptions. Chart of the Bay of Gibralter, North View of Gibralter and View of the Spanish Batteries have lage tears, some with old repairs. Small closed rears to some of the other plates. Plates a little dusty. Occasional light foxing and handling marks. Creases and heavier foxing to endpapers. Very small areas of old worming to top layer of calf of upper board. Wear and rubbing to top and base of spine and corners of boards. Overall a GOOD+ COPY.
