FIRST EDITION 4to. hardback with blue cloth spine, printed paper title label, and pale grey paper-covered board with blue titles to upper board and blue vignette illustration to lower board. viii + 115pp + 3pp + 8pp + 4pp. With Frontispiece, 19 engraved plates (3 of which are double-page) plus 2 extra loose plates (not called for) and repeat of one plate at end. Most plates tissue-guarded. Modern armorial bookplate to front pastedown and large b/w photo clipping pasted to ffep. Occasional light foxing, heavier to prelims. Front inner hinge weak with splits to endpaper. Soiling to boards abd title label and some light edgewear and rubbing. Overall a Good Copy.
