Ink gift inscription dated 1871 to Vol I rfep and Vol II ffep. Foxing to prelims and last few pages of both Vols. Inner hinges to both Vols. beginning to split, scuffing to endapers of Vol II and first gather (ffep and half-title) detached but present. Edgewear, soiling, and a few marks to covers, spines uniformally sunned, overall a Good set.
