FIRST EDITION 3 Volumes 8vo. hardbacks bound in original floral and gilt decorated cloth with gilt titles. t.e.g. Decorative endpapers. 179, 164 and 157pp. plus many unpaginated colour plates through the 3 volumes and all profusely illustrated in b/w. A clean set with no previous owners' markings or inscriptions. Internal foxing to endpapers, tissue guards (to frontispieces) and foredges. Uniform foxing to cloth bindings, making the spines appear slightly mottled. Corners lightly rubbed. Overall a GOOD+ SET.
