(approx. 21 x 16.5cm) hardback, bound in recent brown half calf in period style, with 2 raised bands, gilt to spine and marbled boards. Red speckled edges. [12], 48pp. text followed by 16 foldout plates with engraved, annotated illustrations, some outer edges professionally repaired with Japanese and Archival tissue with no loss to images. Attractive bookplate to front pastedown. Unobtrusive library stamp to each plate. Some occasional foxing and discolouration to pages. Pale red flecks to lower corner of title page from speckling of page edges. Light stains to lower egde near spine of most pages, including foldout plates. Very light edgewear to marbled boards. Overall a VERY GOOD COPY.
