FIRST EDITION IN BOOK FORM (without Appley Dappley's Nursery Rhymes and Tom Kitten's Painting Book in Other Volumes list to rfep). Small square 8vo. (approx. 12.8 x 11cm) grey paper-covered hardback with dark green titles and circular colour illustrated plate pasted to upper board. Colour illustrated endpapers. 53pp., some pages printed one side only, with 15 colour plates including frontispiece. Previous owner's ink name and date (1917) to ffep and an ink "4" to front pastedown. Rfep has small spot of damage where it has stick to facing pastedown at some point but not affecting images. Occasional light foxing and handlig marks. Spine rather tanned and boards a little soiled. Overall a VERY GOOD COPY.
