The Grotesque in Church Art

Second Edition, undated but c.1900. 8vo., brown clothbound hardback gilt, t.e.g., 221pp, indexed + 11pp publisher's adverts, tissue-protected b/w frontis plus b/w text illustrations throughout. Faint pencil inscription to ffep, also a dampstained area which slightly affects reverse of frontis, light foxing to edges and endpapers; spine ends and corners of boards a little bumped. Overall a copy in Good+ condition.
