FIRST EDITION 8vo red clothbound hardback, gilt. 306pp. plus 6pp. Publisher's List. Blank Ex Libris bookplate to front pastedown (pasted over a partially removed earlier bookplate). Occasional light foxing, heavier to prelims and foredge. Gilt to spine very faded but bright to upper board. Covers rather soiled and spine top and base edgeworn with a couple of small splits. Overall a Good Sound Copy. This scarce book covers the author's military life from mobilsation with the Royal Medical Army Corps in August 1914 and their time in France, also his experience with a Canadian Clearing Station in the Canadian Section.
