Pages unnumbered and printed one side only with handwritten story and colour illustrations by Ardizzone. No previous owners' markings or inscriptions. Board covers very slightly bowed, and edges lightly worn with a few tiny chips. Dust jacket has some areas of loss (please see photos) along with a few closed tears, chips and some foxing/soiling. Overall a VERY GOOD COPY in a GOOD DUST JACKET.
