Large 8vo., dark blue clothbound hardback, with blind-stamped lettering and emblem to upper cover; [vii] + 307pp, indexed, illus with 18 tables, 10 plates (some foldout) and 64 illustrations within text. Clean copy with no previous ownership inscriptions or annotation. Slight dampstaining to top of foredge and to the borders of the first and last few pages, ffep corner clipped, a few handling marks to covers. A Good copy overall.
