Gilt titles to spine and gilt flag to upper board. [xv] + 324pp., illustrated with a colour portrait frontispiece, a folding map and a tinted b/w plate. Modern armorial bookplate to front pastedown. Endpapers over inner hinges a little damaged when spine was rebacked. One gather (pages 227-238) slightly sprung. Lower corner of frontispiece dampstained but not affecting illustration, folding map a little foxed. Corners rather worn and general edgewear. Overall a Good Copy.
