All edges speckled in orange. 360 and 384pp. Possibly some pages missing at end of Volume II (finishes at p.384, 3 pages into the Publisher's advertisements). Both volumes illustrated with rather crudely but contemporary hand-coloured engravings. 19 of 24 plates present (missing plates: Volume I; IV and VIII; Volume II: III, IX, XIII). Attractive bookplate of Carolus Casolari (see image) to inside front cover of each volume along with an old library label. Some occasional foxing, heavier to prelims. A little (old) worming to spine edges and light soiling to boards. Overall a Good Interesting Set.
