Large 8vo., bound in dark red bevelled buckram boards with gilt titles and date 1906 to spine, and gilt titled gilt embossed illustration of "A Home of the Gunpowder Plot" to front board. Top edge gilt. Fore-edge and bottom edge untrimmed (rough-cut) as called for; [ix], 392pp, indexed, profusely illustrated in b/w. Neat ink owner name to ffep, foxing and browning to endpapers, a few handling marks to covers and edges a little rubbed, spine rather faded and marked. A Good copy overall.
